Privacy and cookies

This page explains which personal data I process when you visit the site or contact me, why, and what your rights are. Last updated: 27 October 2026.

Who processes your data

What data and why

• ▸Quote requests and contacts — name, email, phone and the description you write. The site form stores nothing: it prepares a message that you send yourself, via WhatsApp or email. I use it only to reply and quote (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• ▸Jobs and invoicing — the data needed to handle the repair, the warranty and tax documents (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR).
• ▸Data on your devices — when I repair a PC or console I access your files only as far as the job requires. I make no copies unless you ask for a backup, which I delete on handover.
• ▸Technical browsing data — the server hosting the site (Aruba S.p.A., Italy) automatically logs data such as IP address, date and page visited, for security and operation (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

How long

Requests that don't turn into a job are deleted within 12 months. Data tied to jobs and invoices is kept for the period required by law (10 years for tax records).

Cookies and external services

• ▸Technical cookies — the site stores in your browser only your cookie choice and, if you ask for it, your map preference. No profiling, no advertising, no third-party analytics.
• ▸Google Fonts — the site's fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
• ▸Google Maps — the map loads only if you press «Show map». From then on Google's privacy policy applies.
• ▸WhatsApp and Google reviews — these are external links: if you open them, Meta and Google handle the data under their own policies.

Who I share it with

Nobody for marketing purposes. Only those required by law or by the job: my accountant, the hosting provider and, for a warranty part, the manufacturer or distributor.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to receive it in a readable format and to object to processing (Art. 15-22 GDPR). Write to info@ilgaragedeipc.it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
